Here's an interesting take on the Butterfly Marketing Manuscript (if you don't know what this is, then you are among the few who have NOT been inundated with emails from the various internet marketers who are affiliates of this program and have been pushing this product - HARD - over the past few weeks.)
Well, the noise has died down, and now David Watson, a no-hype internet marketer from the UK has come out with his take on the program - and this is pretty interesting, since he was one of the ones that bought the FULL package for a LOT more money!! Here it is in Watson's own words to his subscribers (of which I am one):

Hi David,
I've had several users emailing me and asking why I haven't been promoting Mike Filsaime's Butterfly Marketing Manuscript that has launched today, and why do I not have an affiliate link they could use.
After all, I have given a tesimonial for the product, which is on the Butterfly Manuscript salespage, so, surely, I must think you all should be buying it.
Well, I reckoned that you would be absolutely inundated with emails about this product, and you could do without me pestering you to buy it, but, I'll give you my thoughts, and you can make up your own mind.

Everyone else will probably be sending you loads of emails about this during the next few days - I WON'T.
This is the one and only email that you'll get from me about it, and I only decided to do it because several of my users asked me for my thoughts about the product. So, I've set out my thoughts below, and you can make up your own mind.
I bought the Butterfly Marketing Package at $997 back on 31st January 2006. At that time, I had just returned from holiday in The Gambia with my wife, Georgina, and had decided that I was going to start selling my software online.
I had no experience in selling online, and had never sold anything online at that stage - all my online earnings had come from Adsense, using my own software that then became Website Article Wizard.
So I was getting loads of emails about this Butterfly Marketing thing, and decided to invest in it, because I thought it might help me in building my new online software sales business.
A lot of the concepts outlined in the course were new to me, and not something I would have considered doing had I not read the Butterfly Marketing course.
It made me think about things in a different way, and approach how I went about setting up my sites and my promotions.
Without a doubt, if I hadn't got Butterfly Marketing, I wouldn't have been able to do as well as I have so far, and there's still a lot of what I've learnt from Butterfly Marketing that I still have to put into practice, but it was a very worthwhile investment for me.
So, I paid $997 for the package, but also including the Butterfly Marketing script, back in January, and now you can get your hands on the same information, without the script, for just $97.
If I didn't own Butterfly Marketing, would I buy it again?
Yes, I would, because I know that the concepts discussed in the manuscript would generate much more than $97 for me - but that's me, and my priorities and future plans could be different from your priorities and plans.
Should YOU buy the manuscript?
Well, that depends on your future intentions, and exactly what you are involved in at present.
If you are focused solely on Adsense income, then maybe it's not for you. Keep your focus and don't get distracted.
If you have plans for other online activities, in addition to your Adsense activities, then the Butterfly Marketing Manuscript could be very valuable to you in refining your strategies, and giving you a different outlook on how to go about online promotion.
You should decide whether it is something you need.
If it isn't going to help you enhance your online activities, don't get caught up in the hype and buy it.

I hope my thoughts on the product will help you.
Best regards,
David Watson
